Elijah V. Ramos is a Filipino-American performer based in New York City.
Elijah V. Ramos is a passionate singer, actor, and dancer entering his senior year at the Manhattan School of Music, where he is pursuing a BM in Musical Theatre. His most recent credits include Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods, "Steam Heat" Dancer in The Pajama Game, and Albert in Newsies. Up next, Elijah is thrilled to join the cast of Camelot as the Male Swing at Barrington Stage Company! He is excited to join this classic production with such a talented cast and team.
In January 2025, Elijah had the incredible honor of being a top 3 finalist in BroadwayWorld’s Next On Stage Competition (Season 5, College Division). As part of the competition, he had the opportunity to perform "Proud of Your Boy" from Aladdin at 54 Below—a song close to his heart and from one of his dream roles. Earlier, in December 2024, Elijah embraced another exciting artistic challenge: creating and performing his own cabaret, Take Me to the World, under the guidance of Andrew Gerle. The experience deepened his artistry and sparked a newfound passion for cabaret—an art form he looks forward to exploring further in the future.
Elijah was born and raised in San Jose, California. His love for performing was ignited by the inspiration of his dad and sister, both singers, and he knew from a young age that he wanted to follow in their footsteps. His journey into musical theatre began at age 7, when his mom introduced him to videos of Lea Salonga in Miss Saigon, sparking a deep passion for the art form.
When Elijah is not on stage, he enjoys trying to make his friends and family laugh, and immersing himself in music and dance.
